COVID-19: An Overview
Monday, July 27, 2020, 07:30pm - 08:30pm
Contact Sgt. Robert McCool (MCRS 725)

What exactly is a coronavirus, and why is everyone so afraid of this one?  How dangerous is it, really?  Who is most at risk?  How do we protect ourselves, as responders and as citizens?  This course will attempt to provide some answers.  The core of the training will be a video overview of COVID-19 by Wilbur H. Chen, MD, MS, FACP, FIDSA of the Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  There will also be a discussion and review of the prevention guidelines established by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a discussion of the potential impact on Squad personnel.

Location MCRS Station (161B South Estill Avenue, Richmond, KY)
